Christine Ma, Esq.

Christine received her law degree from Boston University and her undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Southern California. She received her college counseling certificate from the University of California at San Diego. Christine and her husband currently reside in Orange County, California. Their son is pursuing a Joint Honours degree in English Literature and Classics at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and their daughter is studying Sustainable Business and Marketing at New York University’s Stern School of Business in Manhattan.

Christine primarily focuses on assisting high achieving students seeking admission to elite universities in the United States and abroad. She specializes in helping students identify their unique qualities and experiences and present them through impactful personal essays that help them stand out during the admissions process. 

Christine is an avid dog lover and enjoys photography, food, and travel. 

Margaret Choe

Margaret received her degree in American Studies from Tufts University. She earned her college counseling certificate from the University of California at San Diego. She and her husband reside in Orange County, California. Together they have three children; their eldest son is a junior at The University of Arizona, pursuing a double major in electrical and computer engineering; their daughter is a freshman at University of Washington, studying English Literature and Journalism. Their youngest son is a junior at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. 

Over the last decade, Margaret has been actively engaged in educational advocacy through her children’s schools, serving on many PTO and philanthropic boards. In addition, she spent three years on the Board of Directors for Tustin Public Schools Foundation. Prior to that, she worked at Pacific Life in Newport Beach, as a Director of National Accounts, focusing on relationship management and strategic planning across multiple distribution channels. 

Working with her children to find the right educational fit through high school and college has been rewarding and eye-opening, ultimately leading her to college counseling as a second career. Margaret advocates an open-minded approach to finding the right college fit, centered around student mindfulness and emotional intelligence. Her experience in the financial services industry provides her with a unique understanding of college funding and financial aid options, along with an appreciation for the value of early planning.

In her free time, Margaret enjoys hiking with her dog Cora, cooking, travel, reading, and visiting with family across the U.S. and abroad.
