Comprehensive College Admissions Consulting

  • Full evaluation of the student’s academic profile: high school transcripts, standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, AP, IB), current course schedule

  • Full evaluation of student’s extra-curricular activities and resume as it relates to college admissions and goals: volunteer organizations, on and off-campus clubs and activities, work experience and/or current job

  • Individualized college planning portal for communication, scheduling, tracking deadlines and organization (accessible to both student and parent; includes unlimited access to AchieveWorks student assessments)

  • Review of and recommendations for high school course selection and activities for junior and senior year

  • Guidance on standardized test taking as well as test reporting strategies

  • In-depth discussion and development of a college selection list based on academic and personal interests and values, majors/programs, geographic location, campus culture, student body, social climate, and any other relevant factors – typically resulting in 15-20 colleges to consider

  • Guidance on timeline, approach, and strategies to prepare for applications – early action, early decision, regular decision, rolling admission, teacher recommendations, and essay planning

  • Recommendations for college visits, pre-visit planning and post-visit analysis; strategies for maximizing demonstrated interest

  • College Essays: Detailed introduction, guidance, review and editing of Common App essay and all individual college supplemental essays. (Please see College Essay Review below)

  • Guidance with completing the Common Application – including editing the Activity and Honors/Awards list

  • Preparation for interviews

  • Contacting college admissions offices with questions

  • Assistance with making the final college selection

 This package includes unlimited in-person and virtual meetings, as well as all correspondence, reviews, and edits throughout the process. Meetings will be based on necessity and will typically increase in frequency as application deadlines approach.
